Choreographer/Associate Director
(she/her) Theater: 8 original Broadway shows, including The Prom, The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical, and Mary Poppins. At Short North, Vasthy directed The Color Purple (2024) and performed her role of The Ghost of Christmas Past in last year’s production of Christmas Carol. Recent TV credits include High School Musical: The Series (Krystal), The Bold and the Beautiful, and Briny, the Whale in Baby Shark’s Big Show! On Nick Jr, and Maman in Areil on Disney Jr. She was a choreographer for the films WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story, Cursed Friends, The Prom, and Miracle Workers.. In 2020, Vasthy launched Vasthy & Friends as a virtual children’s entertainment business, Vasthy & Friends, hoping to bring joy during difficult times, and now performs all over the US. V & F released an original children’s music album: “Sing, Dance, Play,” available on all music streaming platforms. Vasthy currently resides in LA but continues to work in New York City and at theaters and schools across the United States. @Vasthyandfriends
