Tawny Dolley
Tawny Dolley is thrilled to be making her Transcendence Theatre debut! Dolley has entertained audiences around the globe and across television screens as a support vocalist for Artists Estelle, Solange, & Rachel Platten. She is most known for her portrayal of Etta James in the ongoing Broadway national tour of A Night with Janis Joplin, and starred in the 2019 film version for BroadwayHD alongside Tony Award nominee Mary Bridget Davies. Dolley also stepped into the role of Associate Director & Associate Choreographer in the show’s most recent production at the historic Le Petit Theater. Other theatrical credits include Dreamgirls, Both!, Once on This Island, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, Parade, Fame, Big River, & For the Record: Tarantino. Dolley also performs with the legendary band Vintage Trouble, who’s episode of AXS TV’s “If These Walls Could Rock” was just recently nominated for an Emmy Award.
