A native of North Philadelphia, Devin is an alum of The Philadelphia Dance Company (Philadanco), having danced for the company for four seasons. His training began in State College, PA, with Nicole Swope at Centre Dance Studios. He continued his studies at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet under the late Marcia Dale Weary and as a scholarship student at The Ailey School under the late and beloved Denise Jefferson. Devin has danced in the National Tour and Broadway companies of Disney’s The Lion King. Other theater credits include Ain’t Too Proud (Berkeley Repertory Theater), Beetlejuice (The National Theatre), In the Heights (Dallas Theater Center), and Billy Porter’s revival of The Life (New York City Center Encores). Devin has also been a background vocalist for Jonah Smith, finalist for America’s Got Talent.
