Brett is a management consultant, executive recruiter, and network connector, born and raised in Los Angeles. Long before Brett interviewed candidates for his clients, he auditioned musicians and performers for live theatrical productions, which he conducted and produced. Live theatre has always been a passion for Brett, having received his undergraduate degree in Music Education and Conducting at UCLA, and having produced his first production of “Little Shop of Horrors” in 2000. Brett’s depth of experience in building teams (both on and off stage) comes from working in two different nonprofit organizations prior to forming the Brett Fisher Group (BFG) in 2008. Brett was Producer and Managing Director for Santa Monica Civic Light Opera (2002 to 2006), bringing two summer tours to Avalon’s Casino Theatre on Catalina Island and General Manager for Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, CA (2006-2007). In 2008 Brett founded the Brett Fisher Group as a business and arts consulting firm. From 2011 to 2014 Brett collaborated with Transcendence’s executive leadership team on developing their business office. Brett’s long-term dream is to develop sustainable mixed-use communities featuring resident performing arts groups in arts-deprived, destination locations.
Since 2008, BFG has successfully placed top talent from Senior to C-Level with backgrounds in accounting, finance, sales, marketing, human resources, and administrative professionals throughout the U.S. With carefully selected clients in his portfolio, BFG only looks to make “purposeful matches” of candidates to his clients, understanding that a successful long-term relationship with both his candidates and clients, is ultimately what brings his team great satisfaction.
