FAQs for Kids Camp
What will my kids be doing each day at camp?
Campers will learn to stretch their theatre muscles with classes in improvisation, dance, and even writing a 10-minute musical! You can find descriptions of classes on page two of the information packet and a full schedule of camp on the last pages.
Do they need prior experience?/ Is there an audition to participate?
No prior experience needed! And no audition process. Some of our campers have taken to the stage before, most haven’t. Kids Camp is a great first adventure in the performing arts.
Are there scholarships available? How do we apply?
Yes, we offer scholarships for half and full tuition, depending on need. We can also help with access to the internet and electronic devices. If your interested, please fill out our Scholarship Request Form.
Is there an adjustment in pricing due to the move to an online camp for 2020?
Yes, if you’ve already paid for camp, there are two options:
- You can convert the difference in ticket costs into a tax-deductible donation to the Transcendence Arts & Values Education Fund. With your support, we can continue to uplift people all over the world with arts outreach and education.
- You can also request a full or partial refund by scheduling an appointment or calling us at 877.424.1414 ext 1.
Can I pay for another student to receive a scholarship to kids camp? How?
Absolutely! Just schedule an appointment or call us at 877-424-1414 ext 1. You’ll need to let us know the name and contact information for the student you want to make a payment for. Your kindness is inspiring! Thanks for helping another camper learn and grow with us.
