Erika Conaway, has served as a Professional Teaching Artist and Performer with Transcendence Theatre Company since 2016. Currently a Professional Teaching Artist for Dunbar Elementary specializing in Arts Integration for English Language Learners, Grades One through Five. Erika served as a Teaching Artist for Kids Camp of Fantastical Family Night in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Performance credits include: A Chorus Line National Tour (2013), Memphis National Tour (2014), One Singular Sensation at the Public Theatre in NYC (2015), A Chorus Line at Westchester Broadway Theatre (2018), A Chorus Line at The Gateway in Long Island (2018), Featured Soloist and Dancer in Dance the Night Away (TTC 2016), Featured Soloist and Dancer in Fascinating Rhythm (TTC 2017), Featured Soloist and Dancer in Shall We Dance and the Gala Celebration (TTC 2018) Featured Soloist and Dancer in Those Dancing Feet (TTC 2019). She also played the role of Maggie Winslow in TTC’s award-winning performance of A Chorus Line. Erika grew up studying ballet and performed with Delaware Ballet. She received 2 summers of intensive ballet training with Carlisle Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet and paid her own monthly tuition for her dance classes by teaching Kinderdance at her local dance studio. Erika earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA.
