This year we will once again be working with the Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma Valley. From our spring show, summer season, and holiday show, each of our casts will have the opportunity to participate in a project with students. The students will also attend our performances and see the artists they worked with on stage!

We are excited to work with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Santa Rosa this year. Performing Artists will be performing and leading workshops at a Back to School event for families experiencing homelessness. By offering more than 20 programs, Catholic Charities touch the lives of over 76,000 people who are most underserved in this community.

Sweetwater Spectrum is a community based, long-term housing solution serving adults with autism. We will be inviting the residents of Sweetwater Spectrum to attend a performance and connect with the cast at pre-show. Then later that week that same cast will travel to their community center and lead a series of workshops focused on self-empowerment.

For the third year, Transcendence is pairing high school and college students with Transcendence artists across all departments – creative, stage management, marketing, music, and more. The interns and apprentices have the opportunity to apply the skills they have, gain new skills, and build a better understanding for how they can take their passion into the professional world.

This program is generously funded by The Vadasz Family Foundation.

Each summer 60 students from 8 — 18 participate in a weeklong camp led by Transcendence Artists. This program is created alongside the Department of Education’s Visual and Performing Arts Framework for California Public Schools.
